Hi Everyone, I'm getting married in October 2021 in Sonoma, CA and am looking for a makeup artist and hairstylist. The whole bridal party is black so I'm looking for a hairstylist that is use to working with textured hair and a MUA that is use to doing darker skin tones. I no longer live in the bay area so I don't have a hair girl that I usually go to in the area. My wedding planner provided me with a few options but they are very pricey so I wanted to check in and see if anyone had recommendations.

I chatted with many planners and Cynthia was super experienced and had reasonable prices so I chose her. I also wanted as many vendors of color as possible. I'm going with Salon Philsophie for hair. I haven't done my trial with them yet but my planner recommend them. She's done a few other weddings with my planner. Her prices are pretty good and we had a great phone chat.

My planner also recommended Ninah, but she was a bit more pricey.
