Bahamas honeymoon

Amber, on August 24, 2020 at 2:19 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 5
Fiancé and I just booked our honeymoon for the Sandals Nassau resort. Our honeymoon will be right after the wedding early June of 2021. I know it’s early to know for sure, but could anyone tell me what to expect weather wise during that time of the year?

    Hi Amber!

I haven't been there myself but I did find an article from Sandals describing year round weather for the Bahamas.

I stayed at that resort a couple of years ago over spring break, and it is beautiful! That was in March, but it was sunny every day and I had a nice sun burn for the week.

Last July for our honeymoon we stayed at the other Sandals resort in the Bahamas. Almost every day it got cloudy or rained, but for very short periods of time. The biggest difference to me between March and July was definitely the pool temp, so June should be perfect!

Our wedding is in November of this year and we originally had a cruise planned but with all the COVID stuff going on I opted for plan B

We are doing 5 nights in St. Lucia at Sandals resort. They have 3 in St. Lucia. We are going to Regency La Toc. We did a club level room ( which is right below butler level) and it ran us $3200.00 The plane tickets can be a bit pricey about $1400 round trip. Sandals are all inclusive, with drinks, food and some water activities. ( and our location also has an 9 hole golf course, which is a plus for us!) Ohhh... and gratuity is included in your price ( minus the butler tips) You have access to all three resorts, 2 locations are with in 15 min of each other. They have more expensive rooms with Butler services and such but check out their site and see what you think.... Many locations on many of the Caribbean Islands.... That one was just the best choice for us.

P.S. Make sure you get travel insurance. I did read Sandals isn't the best with refunds or rescheduling. Our insurance ran us about $250.00 (Temple Run 2)
