Bachelorette Party Ideas!

Lauren, on January 8, 2020 at 9:05 AM Posted in Parties and Events 0 8

Hey all!

My Maid & Matron of honor are doing my bachelorette party and I really want to go away ( Like flight away somewhere for a couple days) I've been saying this forever and so does my MOH's, We're looking into places but don't want it to be TOOO pricey for everyone else. Any thoughts? About 5 girls give or take. Where are some fun places that aren't so expected?! WE ALL know Nashville, and I'm not opposed to that at all, but I wanted to hear from everyone else on where did you go? how was it? what did you do? ( We live in Boston, we want some place sunny)

Thanks!

I would recommend talking with your bridesmaids about their budgets to determine what they can afford. Flights aren't cheap. Then you have to factor in the cost for where you are staying, food, etc. While it is a nice idea to want to go somewhere I would check with them first before you decide on anything. I have seen plenty of posts with bridesmaids that can't attend a bachelorette party because they don't have the money. They might also need to take time off so you should check with them if that is possible. Not everyone can take off just because they want to. My brother-in-law went to Nashville and they said it was a very nice area and it wasn't too expensive. I think you need to decide what type of things you want to do. Also, what time of year. The time of year definitely would help determine a nice place to go. I love the summer so I think it would be fun to go to the beach of a bachelorette party.

Yes thank you! That is all understandable, we definitely did all that already. We are thinking of June to go somewhere, just looking for good ideas of places to go.

I think the beach would be perfect for June. You could rent an Airbnb and spend a long weekend at the beach. I know Cape Cod is a popular spot that would be close enough that you could drive. You could still have the fun of going away for the weekend without the cost of flights.

    Hi Lauren,

I was a bridesmaid last year, we went to Charleston, SC. it was great, sun, beach, awesome, we stayed at Belmont Charleston Place, it has a rooftop pool, they have activities suggestions for bachelorettes, and they also have a wonderful spa, we got spoiled, and got Mani pedis also!!!! Congratulations!!

We did Palm Springs and it was SO fun. That might be far from Boston though, cost-wise. Maybe Myrtle Beach? Charleston? New Orleans? NYC? Miami?

We are doing Savannah, GA for my bachelorette party. I wanted to go away, but wanted my girls to be conscious of their budget so this is what they came up with... I couldn't be more excited! It's a good mix of history, nightlife, shopping, and food. Shouldn't be too far to travel from where you are in Boston, if it's somewhere you might be interested in.
