Hello
I’m planning a very small (25 people) and hopefully inexpensive wedding for March 13th. I would like the ceremony to be outside with views of the mountains/desert around sunset. After that I plan to go to dinner somewhere around Phoenix/Scottsdale/Tempe area. Any parks or very inexpensive outside venues you can suggest for the ceremony? Also Restaurants with a great view and/or private rooms.

Your wedding sounds like it will be a romantic, intimate celebration. Are you and your FS from Arizona? Or will this be a destination wedding for you?

When selecting the location and park, I would recommend you check out the Arizona State Park & Trails website. They have a menu of all the different parks, and when you click on to one, you can get information on planning a wedding there (rental information and reservation application).

When searching for a restaurant wedding venue, you should definitely check out the WeddingWire venue directory, as it is possible to filter by venue type. Here are some searches for you in the areas you mentioned -

Yes, check out Lake Pleasant park. It is lovely and inexpensive. I had a friend who got married there and I think it was only $300. It is beautiful there. Just about any of the parks will let you get married there but that one has the biggest area.
