When looking for venues, I suggest searching through google, wedding wire, and the knot!

As for a planner, that's up to you! We don't have one because we don't see a point in paying someone to do that lol. I also prefer to have control when planning, so hiring one wasn't the best idea for us. We DO have a day of coordinator that will work with us the day of our wedding and I HIGHLY suggest you have one of those if you haven't thought about it!

I agree with Shelly - a day of coordinator is a must have!! If your venue doesn't provide you with a specific day of coordinator then make sure to hire a planner! For wedding venues - how big is your guest list and what does your budget look like? The Atlanta Botanical Gardens are really affordable, and The Wimbish House is also known as a great deal! You should also check out Roswell River Landing, 595 North Event Center, The Trolley Barn, Magnolia Hall, The Piedmont Room and Piedmont Garden Tent, and The Historic Academy of Medicine at Georgia Tech.
