Aruba Honeymoon Recommendations?

Ashley, on December 27, 2020 at 11:57 AM Posted in Honeymoon 1 8

My fiancé and I are starting to book our November/December 2021 honeymoon to Aruba. We are business owners and rarely have time for real vacations, so we are looking to go all out. When we usually travel it is to see family or for events, so we rarely have time for true relaxation. Anyone have recommendations about things we shouldn't miss?

We’re splurging for our honeymoon- I got a smoking deal for Sandals! They have resorts in quite a few different places. We wanted an all inclusive place & Sandals had the best bang for our buck! 7 days, 1 bedroom honeymoon suite villa with a butler for $3949 (includes taxes & that’s for both of us) in Jamaica! It includes lodging, food, alcohol & some excursions! I’m so super excited to spend 7 days with my new husband!

I would suggest waiting until mid 2022 to travel internationally

I’m a travel agent and I know a couple people who went to Aruba in September so you will be fine by November or December 2021 lol. Honestly Aruba doesnt have the best downtown areas cause some parts are kinda sketchy but I would recommend getting a reservation at a really nice hotel like the Hilton, Riu, or Marriott to name a few. The Hilton and Riu are right on the ocean. And tell them its your honeymoon when you check in! If you book at a nice enough resort you will have a blast just with the amenities they have. Personally I recommend Riu cause theyre all inclusive Smiley smile

    Hi Ashley! Aruba sounds amazing!!

Aruba is known for its stunning beaches - so I'd recommend lots of beach time and water activities (sailing, boat tours, snorkeling, scuba diving, etc.) ATV tours are also really popular for exploring the island and Arikok National Park! Flamingo Beach at Renaissance Island looks really cool, and there are also Casinos and amazing spas at the Ritz-Carlton and Aruba Marriott Resort.

Thanks! We had friends who went in October, so I believe as long as you test before heading to Aruba, you should be good. I want to take advantage of the lower prices right now since not many people seem to be booking.

I have been to Aruba twice and absolutely love it. I highly recommend that if you like seafood not to miss Zerovers. It is a great whole in the wall place to eat by the water with a peaceful view.

We loved Aruba. We stayed at Bucuti which is adults only and amazing. We went horseback riding and rented a slingshot (though I’d rent an ATV instead next time). Food was great and people are super friendly and welcoming. Flamingo island is something we didn’t see, but if you are eager I’d book one night at the hotel, because it’s free for guests.
