If you're allowed to, definitely do it! This is a very thoughtful idea.

I don't think it's necessary for the mass, just for the reception after. You could ask the church about water bottles. Let me know if you need help with your program--I just had a full mass and we put a lot of work into program explanations for non-Catholics.

I’ve been to a few catholic weddings and never seen anyone provide drinks. I don’t thinks it’s necessary. Maybe as a favor after the ceremony. It may be fun to hand them out if your doing a receiving line.
