Anyone know how to prop this up?

Damla, on May 31, 2018 at 10:59 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 7
I bought this beautiful mirror to act as our welcome sign. Only problem is that we won’t be able to prop it against the entrance as I originally thought. I’ve been looking at stands I could use, but because it’s so long, I feel like it would look odd. Anyone have suggestions as to where I could find a shorter stand/make a stand/etc.?

They make floor easels for mirrors and large works of art that might work. They even have some that are adjustable. Maybe something like this.

    Adjustable Floor Easel

Gorgeous mirror! Check with your venue to see if they have a stand or easel available before you buy one. My daughter's venue has a big heavy one that we will be using for her welcome mirror and we can use it for free. Good luck!

If you can't find anything, get 2 chunks of wood and make an upsidedown T. A little wood glue or screws will be fine. That should hold the mirror up if you can't find anything else.

We found a beautiful antique looking metal easel at Hobby Lobby. Check there. If an easel could work, you could also try craft stores and look for a wooden one- you could distress it or stain it to make it look however you wanted. Beautiful mirror BTW

If we wanted to place this on place card table, any ideas how to prop it up? I'm not sure an easel would work because of the bottom curve...
