Any Wisconsin June 2021 brides?

Brittney, on February 7, 2021 at 2:11 AM Posted in Wisconsin Planning 0 8
My FH and I are debating on if we should postpone to June ‘22. Was curious what other brides are doing? Our original wedding would be at a nature center for outdoor ceremony and indoor reception with about 125 people. I’m not sure if that will be realistic still? We probably won’t decide until March or April on if we postpone or not. If we do we will plan to do something small somewhere else and then do a vow renewal and reception with hopefully those 125 guests in 2022. I’m slightly torn because we wanted to start trying for a family next year and I have a irrational fear of my dress not fitting waiting another year lol.

June 5th here. Wedding is in Waukesha county and we’ve invited about 150 people. We are going along as planned.

June 5th as well in Racine. We invited 140 (most likely will be less than that coming though) but we are going as plan. I asked my family and wedding party what they think we should do and they all said just go as planned

I’m June 26th, and our total guest count is about 175. We haven’t decided what we’re doing yet and I’m kind of freaking out about it. My parents seem to think everything will be totally normal by then but I don’t think that’s true at all. I feel like I’m going to feel so guilty if I host an event with that many people. Ugh! Never thought I would be dealing with this when we booked the venue about a year ago.

Look at it this way, if people feel uncomfortable they won’t come, and vis versa.

I know, but I’m still the one hosting. And I also feel uncomfortable being in an enclosed space with that many people at this point.

Hi there! I am planning a wedding for the end of June in the Racine area. We are hoping to have 120 and expecting that this will be doable with the vaccine rolled out, but we are also preparing for a smaller number (about 80) if that happens to not be the case. We are trying our best to be hopeful!

Thank you for all the input ladies! I will be getting married in Dane county which outside limit is 100 and inside is 25 with masks and social distancing. I just don’t know how we can pull it off or it be fun. We always wanted the big party and dance.
