Any Missouri Brides have suggestions for Bachelorette Party??

So, I'm from Minnesota, I'm living in Springfield, MO and I'm trying to figure out where to have my Bachelorette Party. My sister is my MOH but she's in MN along with my best friend, so they'll be the only ones traveling for the Bachelorette Party. My old roommate is acting as my "resident MOH" because she's living here in MO and she's a great planner so she should be able to help my sister out with all the planning. So my MOH/sister and my 'resident MOH' asked where I would like to have my Bachelorette Party and what I'd like to do. There's not much to do here in Springfield, and it's 10-11 hrs (driving) away from my sister/friend. So my friend suggested we do a weekend in St. Louis or Kansas City. Both are roughly 3-4 hrs away from Springfield and about 7-8 hrs away from Minneapolis.

So... suggestions? KC or STL? Why?

    Are you planning on having it sometime soon? Your wedding is almost a year away. I'd let them wait until closer to the date and decide.

    Why go all the way to St Louis or Kansas City? Branson is much closer and has some fun stuff. I don't know what you'll wanna do for your party but I would have fun renting a cabin, getting drunk and playing silly games.

    I think they're planning on it being in July sometime, maybe August (2018) I know it's a while away, but deciding where a party is shouldn't really be one of those things that can't be done ahead of time.

    I'm graduating next May, so starting my senior year of college in a few weeks, we're trying to get as much planning and preliminary ideas out of the way since I'll be crazy swamped with a full-time job, an internship, wedding planning, and school.

    I was just asking Missourian's opinions on where to have my Bachelorette party so we can have an idea and give my sister and best friend a sizeable heads up

    Branson is south...

    Minnesota is north...

    I don't want my sister and friend to travel FARTHER, I want them to travel LESS

    Plus, I really don't like Branson. Too touristy

    I second Hermann...one of my favorite places! If you go, plan early...every single place there is filled, almost all the time. Google Oak Glen Winery....they have live music every Saturday, and they also have a house, on the property, you can rent. And, the view is literally to die for! It makes for amazing pics.

    I was going to say Branson. There are a ton of different options. If not I'd do St. Louis

    I’m also from MN and live in Missouri now. I live in St. Louis, so I’d say it’s a great place to come and maybe easier to fly into. There are a lot of free museums here- and the zoo is free and great. If it’s summer, a Cards game would be fun, even if you aren’t a big ball fan (I’m not) and pretty cheap. Air bnbs are pretty cheap and there are lots of fun neighborhoods to explore. (The Grove, Soulard, and Downtown are all fun for going out)

    I also live in Springdield. Im going to KC for my BP because im going to Vegas and possibly LA for my honeymoon and i didnt wasnt to spend more money lbvs
