Any Halloween Weddings??

YES! Halloween is my favorite holiday. I am doing a Halloween wedding absolutely. Some people may not like the darkness of it that I’m incorporating but it’s okay because it’s my day to do how I want (because I am paying for it).

Our theme is 'Til Death Do Us Part so we're doing a gothic theme. No costumes though, I wanted it to be classy. We're wearing black and purple, this is my second wedding so I'm avoiding white like the plague lol. These are the rings I ordered to go with the whole esthetic. On top of skeletons, we'll have plenty of ouija and crystal ball stuff. I found most of my decorations at Home goods and dollar tree.

View Quoted Comment Well considering it's in a week, yes we have a venue haha. The ceremony will be in my parents' front yard and the reception is being held at my brother in law's (really nice) pole barn just down the street.

I hope you share pictures after your wedding! I absolutely love Fall and Halloween weddings - there are SO many options for vibe/decor! I love that you got a lot of decor from HomeGoods - they have the BEST stuff!! My fiance always gets nervous when I say I'm going there or Marshalls this time of year 😂

We have Halloween decorations for our reception (including a 12ft grim reaper). Instead of using bouquets for my bridesmaids we are using witch brooms with some flowers attached and my flower girl is using a cauldron. My new last name will be Adam and our announcement song is going to be the Addams family theme song. We will have skeletons and a fog machine as well. My dress is all black and my hubby is going to be in old fashioned tails and a top hat with a skeleton topped walking cane.

I love that everyone will be greeted by the Grim Reaper. Will you have cool uplighting on him?? That would make for a fantastic photo op for guests! It would be really cool to have your photographer take pics of guests with the reaper as they arrive, then you could print them out and include them in your thank you notes to your guests!

Yes! We are doing a whole trick or treat candy table, and our decor is kinda witchy, potion shop like. We are also going to through some Halloween songs in white people are dancing!

Exactly what I was thinking! Green, red or even purple (to match the wedding colors). We got some cheap solar powered lights on amazon and they work perfectly! It would add such a cool, Halloween-y vibe!

I love the trick or treat table! Will there be kids at your wedding? If so, I'm sure they will appreciate the treats! Will you be letting kids dress up in their Halloween costumes?
