Alterations recommendation?

Pamela, on June 25, 2019 at 7:58 AM Posted in Louisiana Planning 0 2
I'm looking for someone who can take my A-line with a long train to more fit and flare with something more manageable. I purchased from Linen Jolie and they only recommended the alterations through their sister shop, Town and Country. I'm afraid those are going to be overpriced to match their customer base.

I use Bee's Tailor in Metairie for everything else, but I realized when I was in there yesterday that my dress won't even fit in their fitting area!

    Hi there Pamela!

Do you live far from Bee’s Tailor? Do you think it would be possible for them to do a house call for your fittings? If you trust them, and would like them to do your wedding dress, the extra cost could be worth it! Definitely worth exploring Smiley smile

Alternatively, I would advise you check out Yelp for some local recommendations and previous client reviews!

Do you have a lot of alterations to make to your dress? What needs to be taken care of?

    Oh they definitely wouldn't travel!

I am going to have the skirt taken from ball gown to more fit and flare and probably take a couple feet off the train.
