Had my first alterations appointment yesterday! Had a little hick-up when I opened my garment bag to find my attachable sleeves were not in the bag... *Freak Out Moment*

LUCKILY I went to my bridal boutique after the appointment and they had an extra set of the beaded straps, so I was able to go back to my alterations person and retry the dress on WITH the straps (:

All in all, I cannot wait to see the dress after alterations!

Pick-up is scheduled for Oct. 19th and wedding is Nov. 9th! Does this timeline seem about right?

Do you have any try on's scheduled in between then? My wedding is October 5th. I dropped my dress off for my initial alterations appointment. Went back 2 weeks later for a try on appointment. Went back a week after that. And will go back 2 weeks before the wedding. I think you should try on the dress at least once, if not twice, between now and your pick-up date, just to make sure the alterations are going as planned!

I'm also getting married on October 5th. I dropped my dress off in late July, have the next appointment September 7th, and I'll probably pick up the dress somewhere around September 21st

That sounds about right. As long as her alterations are on point and everything feels great..you should be good to take the dress home. I last saw my dress in January, went for my first fitting yesterday, I go back oct 15th if all is good I take it home for my nov 22 wedding!
