Allowing Bridesmaids to Plan

My 👰🚿 sucked majorly.

1. I had to “go off” to get them to do it. It was finally held the week before my Wedding. This is because they were apparently under the severely misguided notion that since they couldn’t attend in August that they didn’t need to plan it. 😒

2. I was not consulted regarding the food or the 🎂. I am Diabetic and have High Blood Pressure. Fried and Buffalo🍗, Macaroni and 🧀, Rolls, and a 🎂with Pudding are NOT things that I should or want to eat. They should have asked what I wanted or at least run it past me.

So, plan away. Then delegate. This is how you will get what YOU want.

I had no hand in either. Lol.
1. My bridal shower was co-hosted by my step-mom and MOH so I had faith in them to make sure I would be comfortable (Generalized Anxiety Disorder makes that hard sometimes). The most I did was send the invites because I had the addresses and my MOH was on call during the time to send them out.
2. I had no idea about my bachelorette party. My FSILs took care of the restaurant and the activity afterward and they nailed it. ❤

I didn't. My MOH planned my bach & my mother planned my shower. I had very little involvement in the shower besides guest list. I had a little more involvement in bach because my MOH had never been to one and is a perfectionist. Plus I financially contributed to that so I was a little more involved.
