All-inclusive venues in Socal that finance

Jasmine, on January 11, 2023 at 12:04 PM Posted in California Planning 0 3
Is there an all-inclusive venue that takes payments leading up until the wedding date in SoCal? I figured it would be easier to just make payments rather than try to save money I’m just going to spend eventually. Vow Renewal date is our 10th wedding anniversary, November 22, 2024. Our wedding was free and provided by a church we used to attend but we are no longer members. Can’t spend over $10,000 and I was thinking 50 guests to keep it cost effective.

Hi Jasmine! The way that most wedding venues work is that they'll require a deposit to book your wedding (or vow renewal) and secure the date. The amount of the deposit depends on the specific venue, but is generally between 30-50% of total cost. From there the venue might not require the rest of the payment until the event date, but they might have a different payment schedule you're required to follow! For example, my venue had 4 total payment dates (deposit, 6 months before the event, 3 months before the event, and then paying the remaining balance on the event date). I'm sure any venue would also be willing to take payments in advance!!

If you want a fully all-inclusive venue you should check out The HomeStead in Oak Glen and Wedgewood properties like San Clemente Shore by Wedgewood Weddings. 🌟

Black Gold Golf Club in Yorba Linda has really great package pricing and includes food & bev, tables, chairs, linens, silverware, etc. Most restaurants, vineyards, and country clubs will also cover all of those basics, which gets you pretty far!

Hi Lynnie! Thank you so much for this awesome and elaborative information. This helps so much and your recommendations are definitely on point! I have checked out a few locations from Wedgewood, only I have read some of the reviews and they let their staff eat all the food you paid for after all your guests eat one serving each. I’m sorry but if I’m paying for the buffet, everyone should be able to get up for seconds if they please and take home some leftovers. My husband and I love leftovers. I won’t lie, they are definitely cheaper than most all inclusive venues. I’ll just have to communicate my wishes to the staff and coordinators if need be. Thanks again, Lynnie!

It might be acceptable to let Wedgewood policy continue if it still works out lower cost than other options. You would still be feeding your guests and the workers are a bit happier getting fed (which of course is likely that meals are planned for them anyhow). This situation might not be the best way to have leftovers -- but you can try to keep some one way or another.
