Try using the vendor search on here and just put your location in. Or try Thumbtack... I was able to find my makeup artist in Long Island through this... good luck!

It's Queens New York. You can definitely find some one. Hahaha. I would also suggest going on Facebook and see if there is a New York City wedding group because there are a lot of photographers, makeup artist Etc that are not listed on WeddingWire that you can find through there.

Another suggestion is to India ideas tab look at real weddings. And if you scroll down you should see an option for New York and maybe look for weddings posted by. Brides with in the area especially black brides and see which makeup artist day use because sometimes you can see the vendors that they worked with.

She's in Jersey but I had looked at her for my wedding. I had the opposite problem of not wanting to fund the travel expense from NJ to NC. http://myjuicylooks.com

I was going to use her but I am doing a super simple look I can just do myself. Plus our wedding is all the way in south jersey
