Affordable Wedding Venues in Maryland

Rachel, on July 27, 2020 at 1:44 PM Posted in Maryland Planning 0 14
Hi! My fiancé and I are looking to get married in October of 2021. We’re trying to find an affordable venue that would cost us under 20k (all-inclusive) or around 10k just the venue (hopefully with catering included). The setting we’re hoping for is a Bed and Breakfast, Vineyard, Mansion, or Garden. Our current guest count is 140. I fell in love with a B&B on Kent Island. Sadly, they raised their prices much higher and couldn’t afford to host our wedding there anymore. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Jubilee Farm in Leonardtown, MD! We are working with them for our spring 2021 wedding and the owner, Jim is absolutely wonderful. You get the venue for the entire weekend (set up Friday, wedding Saturday and clean up on Sunday) and the price is extremely affordable. The venue is stunning (it's a garden, vineyard and waterfront property) and they also provide the alcohol. They also have a barn for the reception.

I had this all typed up and then the website froze on me. Luckily I was able to take a screenshot (so clicking on the links probably won't work)

Breton Bay was one we also looked at. Country club (but in an old
House style) overlooking water. It wasn’t what I wanted but it was pretty affordable for all inclusive

We looked at Gramercy Mansion and there were parts that were beautiful and we would have chosen them, but we are having a small wedding and it wasn't worth the price. They do require you us their approved list of vendors. Lisa Matthews photos are amazing btw and she shoots at Gramercy Mansion.

We look at Gramercy Mansion and their sister venue Grey Rock. Both were gorgeous, but they were unfortunately waaaaay outside of our price range.

What B&B? I'm getting married in Kent County at Brampton Inn in Chestertown, MD. No catering, but the previous and new owners are amazing to work with. We get married on the 20th, 2 weeks from today! The price is very good. I'm not sure how many people they can host inside so it would have to be an outdoor only likely.

Some might suggest Gramercy, but that is very expensive and would likely be more than your budget. Or Savage Mills has a great view and tons of weddings have taken place there. I'm not sure about the price though.
    Best of luck!

Have you checked out the 1840s Plaza..also the Accelerator Space is priced perfectly in my opinion. Not anything like a bed and breakfast, more industrial but the space is amazing!
