Affordable Caterer

The most affordable catering options would be mexican or bbq or italian. those can even go as low as $10 a person

We're doing NC bbq. 300 for 48 ppl, although we don't need all that now.... We're not actually having it "catered", but they're packing it in aluminum trays for my mom to pick up. Then we'll lay it out buffet style. I think catering service was 15 to 20pp, but our reception venue isn't formal since its on a boat lol. We're on a tight budget so this method worked for us

Catering is rather expensive and where a lot of your money will go towards for your wedding. That being said I found buffets are generally cheaper than a plated meal. Mexican and Italian are also two of the cheaper options when it comes to word. We got married in Pennsylvania rather than Maryland because our families live in that area and because Maryland was more expensive. I believe Virginia is also expensive especially the closer you are to D.C.

Ask your favorite restaurant if they cater to your location. Most places these days offer delivery.

View Quoted Comment Thank you all for your input! We’re still trying to narrow it down. We don’t want to spend too much but would like a little more than a Mexican or bbq option. We’ve been pleasantly surprised with two of the caterers we’ve found if anyone is still looking. Both are doing southern comfort food.
