Addressing Invitations

Theadra, on December 3, 2019 at 8:04 PM Posted in Planning 0 21
Hello beautiful brides, we got our wedding invitations today ! Hubby and I agreed, we don’t want to hand write it because we want it neat. So we figured we go somewhere like Office Depot/ Staples and get everyone’s address and have them put it on stickers . What did you guys do? Any suggestions or easier alternatives? Thanks in advance ♥️

We will be getting our printed on to the envelope since Minted is offering it for free.
If you are using labels you can look at the clear ones. They look nice especially if your envelopes are colored.

Our invitations came pre-addressed, but for save the dates we printed directly on the envelopes.

Yeah we almost got invitations there. It’s a really good sight. Is your envelope colored?

I had originally planned on printing everyone’s addresses on address labels, but instead I went on Etsy and bought a template for $3 to use at home! I’m so glad I went this route, our envelopes turned out amazing. Our return address was also on the back in a similar style.

The company we ordered invitations through offered free envelope addressing, but for the save the dates I ordered printed envelopes from Basic Invite. They were really nice and inputting the information was really easy.

I printed ours at home. I made sure the word document page was set to the envelope size and they printed out no problem.

If you don't have a printer, I'm sure you can find somewhere to print labels for you. I like the clear ones the best.

Our invitations came printed, but for the rsvps we went to staples and bought clear address labels to print out. Was cheap and easy. They make nice ones now where the label doesn’t stand out from the paper like back in the day.

We bought clear labels, printed them at home, and slapped 'em on. Looked fine (we found a font we liked), though you should be careful about letting the ink dry!

    Easy peasy.

I ended up getting clear labels and just printing everything while I was sitting in my office at work. Our wedding invites had our return address on the back of the envelope so I just had to do labels with my FH and I's name and address for the RSVP's, and 2 labels per guest; one for the invitation and one for the return address for the RSVP. That made it so much easier for me! I originally planned on hand writing our invites and RSVP addresses and return addresses but quickly realized I was too lazy for that, haha!
