$3000 honeymoon?

Alejandra, on March 12, 2019 at 7:25 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 12
We are on a pretty tight budget for our honeymoon but want to get as much bang for our buck as possible. Is a $3k Caribbean honeymoon possible?? Dream vacation would include beautiful beaches, massages, maybe just one fun but relaxing excursion, and possibly offshore fishing (we love to fish!) but I am trying not to get carried away too quickly if this is not at all possible for us to stay maybe under $3500 total with food, etc included! If the carribean is out of range, where have y'all gone that this budget works? We are getting married 10/12/19 and would like to fly out of Texas the following week for at least 6 days/5 nights! We have tried a cruise-not for us-but are open to pretty much anything and anywhere!

Go for a cruise. Multiple locations, beaches, spas, food (and sometimes drinks) included.

Yes! Go for a cruise: all inclusive, honeymoon perks, and multiple locations. Just make sure to check the ports and make sure there are things to do without requiring shore excursions.

We are going to the Dominican Republic, Punta Cana to be specific in May. We are spending $2800 including flights, rides to and from the hotel, and all inclusive food and drinks at an adults only resort.

Honestly, I suggest using a travel agent. We used one (she charges $35 a person) and she found us a great deal with better flights compared to what I found myself. I told her anywhere tropical, adults only, all inclusive, and a budget and she gave me like 6 options to pick from.

It is possible. We are going to Jamaica. We spent about $3,500 for hotel (all inclusive) and airfare. You just have to shop around. I checked online almost daily for weeks until I found the best deal.

I wouldn’t recommend the Caribbean anytime between May and November 30th due to hurricane season. $3,000 is definitely possible for a honeymoon there.

If you want something warm and tropical , go to the Philippines. The only expensive thing is the ticket, but with fight deals you can get tickets for less then $1000. After that , you can basically honeymoon in luxury for way cheap

Ours was about $2,500 last September for Majestic Elegance Punta Cana adult only section, flights/transportation and travel insurance (hurricane season).

Try The Royalton All-inclusive resorts! They have beautiful rooms and FH and I got a gorgeous private swim out pool room for our engagementmoon last June in St. Lucia. Idk prices for St.Lucia tickets since I got them for free using my travel miles with Delta.

That was our original plan for us, too...take the boo to see where I grew up, but that will have to wait until next year...for the first anniversary!
