30 people. One bathroom.

We went to a reception that only had one bathroom for each gender (though I don't know how many people they had) and there was definitely a line for the ladies half the night.

We had two bathrooms but we had about 350 people. But I would recommend going with two as it’s nice to have a bathroom separate from men.

Sorry I realize that this didn’t come across correctly what I’m saying is it’s nice to have bathrooms for men and for women and it would reduce the likelihood of a long line.

For 30 people, I honestly think one bathroom is totally fine! For larger weddings, I would say you'd need to rent additional facilities, but for an intimate event like that, I think you are totally fine! I've been to several events of 60-80 people at a venue with two bathrooms/stalls, and it's been totally fine. And I've hosted an event of ~30 people, and we were totally fine with just one bathroom. I would take this off your list of things to plan / worry about

I'm sure alot of others are in the same boat I we have 1 bathroom for our guests. But lucky for me that we have rented the upstairs bridal area and there is a bathroom for us too use. But also the potter potties are alot expensive I'm sure that everything will work out fine

I've had a few parties with 20+ people and one or two bathrooms. I think you're ok! Have a great event. I did note you were thinking of a backyard party. Couple of things to consider is parking nd power to the back yard. Also a plan B in case of weather is also good. Have a great event!
