Alrighty guys, we are getting married in 82 days. (EEEEEEP!) We are starting to think about our honeymoon. We only have about 4 days to use, so it'll be a quicky until we get more time off.

We are stuck between 3 locations: Colorado, Washington or Arizona. We're open to other suggestions. We're mainly looking to try new food, and go hiking or other outdoorsy stuff. (We are originally from Florida, if that helps!Smiley heart) Oh, and the honeymoon will be in Mid March.

I live in Colorado and it could be beautiful or a blizzard in March. Idk if I would risk it.

I would choose Arizona because it'll be the only warm option in March. Unless you like the cold then pick one of the others.

I liked Seattle and Arizona. Arizona is warm but I felt there wasn’t much to do. Seattle has a lot to do but it’s too cold. I live in LA so there’s always something here and what I’m comparing it to!

Oh, we like the cold, so if anything we're afraid of the heat lol! My FH is from Seattle originally, and we've already been once in Jan. It was about 30 degrees the whole week, and it was perfect to us. Smiley heart As Floridians, we are doing ANYTHING to get away from the warmth/humidity lol.

Well, that's kind of why it's my number 1 pick. I've never seen snow, and he hasn't in years. So we kind of want to see snow. But do you think it'd be bad enough to cancel flights around that time of year? Or not too bad?

I don’t think they’ll cancel your flight, it should be ok. Last March we had a cyclone blizzard 🤷‍♀️

Would Costa Rica be safe? I'm leery about going out of the country for safety reasons.

(https://costa-rica-guide.com/travel/health-safety/crime/violent-crime/) I know the same could be said about anywhere, California being included, but I'm so nervous about being safe.

    According to Wikipedia:

    Organised crime & drug-related crime

It has been reported that “Between 2000 and 2015, the country's murder rate nearly doubled from 6.3 to 11.5 per 100,000 citizens. Up to 70 percent of the violence has been associated with territorial battles between local drug gangs.”.

Costa Rica is one of the safest latin american countries. I even took students there last year. I am from Florida too and a lot of bad can happen in certain parts here but if you are concerned about going out of the country then stay stateside.

And murder and rape in Florida is on the rise: https://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/crime/fl-ne-crime-rates-20190625-xvcmiiecanfjhgveodf4h67lfu-story.html

I know, I can't wait to move out of FL for that very reason. South Florida is particularly bad. No one could pay me enough money to go down to Miami... FH and I talk about moving out of state almost constantly. That'll be our next move, hopefully, after the wedding.

Washingtonian here!! Seattle is not the only place in washington to do stuff, in fact it’s my least fave area. There’s so many cool places to hike over here and lots of cool day trips you could do as well. March here isn’t really that cold it’s more gloomy sometimes than anything else. We don’t really get snow so i don’t know why people are acting like it’s such a cold place lol. There’s also lots of beach towns! We ended up not traveling and honeymooning here as well.

I would say get a cabin in blue ridge, GA. I has been years but I stayed there with some college friends and I had a great time.

It's so beautiful! Even with it being gloomy, the trees are grass are SO green and vibrant. The Pacific NW just seems like the type of atmosphere you'd never get any where else.

That is absolutely stunning!!! I'm blown away, it's so romantic looking. And drivable rather than flying, which could be nice too depending on flight prices. Smiley heart
