My mom wore a beautiful a line wedding dress to her second wedding! Nothing says you have to be less formal about it - wear what you want.

This is my 2nd marriage and I am wearing a regular wedding dress!

I just got married again, both of our 2nd time and I wore a wedding dress with veil but changed into a reception dress. My husband wore a suit.

I understand, people love to input their opinion where it's not needed/wanted. Just ignore them! This is YOUR wedding and it's completely up to you what you want to wear

This will be my third marriage; I hate the way that sounds, but finally found the right one. I am absolutely wearing a wedding dress and a veil. Having been married before shouldn’t take away from the experience for you and your FH. I think in years past women often wore something less bridal for second or, um, 3rd marriages, but you wear a big ass ballgown if that’s what you want.

I actually went more formal for my second wedding than I did the first. You can do anything you want. I honestly hate the idea that we have to give up on the wedding we want just because we already had one wedding. If you want the big white dress, wear it. If you want something off-beat or more casual, then do that. Happy planning.

I’m a second time bride wearing a normal wedding dress.

I say wear whatever you want. I recently got married and it was my second marriage. I wore a very simple wedding dress with no train and no veil and we got married on the beach but do what makes you happy.

I’m wearing what I want this time, with zero input from my mother. All around, this time I’m really making it what we want, not bowing to outside influence on what it “should be”. Hopefully that bodes well overall for how this marriage will go compared to the first.

Got to select a dress of my own choosing at a bridal salon (1st time I wore my mother's dress, 2nd time was a great find on Craig's List) so that was a fun experience. We are having a private elopement in our home soon.
