I'm also a Michigan bride! My wedding was supposed to be July 31, 2020, but we postponed. Our venue said they were still able to host our wedding, so we initially still planned to go through with it, but as states that many of our guests were traveling in from were spiking, we decided to postpone. That's awesome that you are still able to have your wedding this fall! How are your plans going?

Awe, I am sorry to hear that, what date did you guys postpone it to? And so far so good, our venue is kind of having us hang on til the last minute and hasn't really been the best at communicating anything to me which is giving me a lot of anxiety... so far it's still able to happen, but it could change since they are waiting on the governor and what she decides to do in the upcoming weeks. Everything is planned and taken care of, just waiting to see if we have to cut our invite list down or what, thankfully we do not have many out of town guests.

Our venue has limited availability for next year, so we ended up postponing to July 29, 2022. I'm actually somewhat relieved - hoping COVID isn't a big deal by then, or at least that everyone is well-adjusted to a new normal by then.

That's good that you don't have many out of town guests! Bummer that your venue isn't making things easy for you. Are they willing to let you postpone if conditions aren't improved by your wedding date? Or maybe see if they're at least willing to put a soft hold on a backup date for you just in case? Hopefully you won't have to change your guest list at all, and that your wedding can occur as planned. No matter what happens, your wedding day will be beautiful!

Oh goodness 2 whole years! You are a trooper girl I give you so much credit for being so understanding and flexible! Lol I would be a mess! They really haven't given us really any information so I have no idea about postponing dates or anything really lol they said they would be in touch in a few weeks. I just take it 1 day at a time and pray for the best. I hope everything works out for you and your wedding day, and hope that it is everything you ever dreamed of!!! I wish you and your significant other, love, health and happiness.❤

Oh wow, hopefully you hear back from them soon! Maybe try to call them, you might be able to get an answer from them sooner. Regardless of what happens, your wedding day will be beautiful! Best of luck!
