Things did *not* go as planned for our reaffirmation this year. Our anniversary is on 10/11 and we had planned to go to the Ohio Ren Fest during their Romance Weekend where they did a mass vow renewal. Unfortunately my husband got very sick and was in the hospital for two weeks. So going to Ren Fest was out of the question this year. I made a back up plan though. Luckily this weekend was beautiful. We had a private ceremony along the Olentangy River in Columbus, Ohio where Griggs Reservoir has a castle like amphitheater. I had actually scoped this location out for our wedding but the amphitheater is not reservable so if we wanted to do an event there someone would have to stake it out (which from my research is OK to do). There's also a shelter house right there that's also not reservable. Just ideas for free wedding locations in the Columbus area 
. We incorporated items from our wedding, his boutonniere, my necklace.
It was a very sweet moment to celebrate our second anniversary. DH did not get through reciting his vows without crying. Which he couldn't do the first time around either. We spent the day just the two of us antiquing and then grabbed sushi at Mochi Sushi in Bexley for dinner.
